Doublewide Dreams

There’s nothing quite like Livingston’s Doublewide Dreams (Cleo Toll, Kevin Toll). They perform a plethora of fresh original music and only a few covers. This band has western roots but is truly multi-genre. Cleo describes their sound as “cowpunk” which embraces different genres, including rock, country and punk. “You might think when a father and son play in a band together, that it’s the son playing in his dad’s band”. But in this case it’s actually Kevin Toll playing in the band of his son, Cleo states. Kevin Toll, part of Livingston’s music scene for decades, took a step back from his own band, Strangeways, to work with Cleo. “I co-write some songs, but it’s his band,” Kevin said. “I know what he wants. I’m backing him up—I’m in his band.
