Jessica Allestad

Jessica Allestad is a strong willed, passionate, horse-loving singer/songwriter based in Billings, MT. She started writing music in 2018 after a brief stint Hawaii. What started as a way to process the emotions that came with divorce, grew into a passion for creating songs with heartfelt purpose.

As a teen she was influenced by artists such as Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain, and a little bit of Taylor Swift. Jess’s current influences are Chris Stapleton’s story telling, crisp vocals of Colbie Caillat, live looping inspired by Ed Sheeran , and Adele’s expressive performance.

Jess has become known as “The National Anthem Singer” in Billings. She regularly performs the anthem at a variety of events, including the Home of Champions Rodeo, Billings Outlaws football games, Billings Mustangs games, and Billings Livestock Sale’s monthly horse sale. She has also performed halftime shows at Montana’s largest venue, opened for Jordan Davis, and The Young Dubliners.” She also created the Billings’s Songwriters series, an intimate songwriters in the round.
